Shannen Faye Malutinok, LCSW, MPH, CCCE
Since graduating Tulane University with a masters in social work and a masters in public health, Shannen has dedicated her career to educating and counseling women from adolescence through adulthood. Shannen has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2009, and has held a private practice since 2011.
Early on in her career it was clear to Shannen that working with women in transition would be her niche. Shannen's practice is geared towards women experiencing the stress and emotion that occur during life's transitions. The goal of Shannen's practice is to guide women through their stress, anxiety, and depression so they may experience life to the full.
Shannen believes that every client has the potential to be the best version of themselves. Her practice integrates mindfulness-based, cognitive-based, and compassion-based therapy methods.
Shannen lives in Athens with her husband and three children. She enjoys road trips with her family, hiking, camping, and open water swimming.
